Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)?????

If you are writing my story - what do I need to provide?

We will be asking you for Source material (website links, copies of articles, brochure copy, etc.),  Bio,  Headshot, Business contact information including email and website (some may include a business phone number), Favorite business quote PLUS your writer will schedule a Zoom interview with you.

How long will it take to get copies in hand?

The normal turnaround time for the full production of a business book is between 3 and 4 months from open enrollment to having shipped books in hand.

How much does it cost to order books?

Between 6 and 10 dollars depending on how many pages are in the book (which we don't know until the book has been formatted).

Do I have to participate?

Absolutely not. This is a value added service being offered as an option ONLY for those business people IN GOLDSTAR who realize the benefit of having their story featured in a book.

How long should my story be?

The accepted word count for your story will be between 1500 and 2000 words (this doesn't include your contact info or short bio that will also be featured in the book).

Will someone edit my story?

Yes! We insist on having a well-written, well-edited, well-formatted professionally produced book. You will be proud to be a part of this.

Can I pick the time for my interview with the ghostwriter?

You will be getting an email with instructions from your personal story writer along with a scheduling link to set a mutually convenient time to do your interview(s).

How will new members get in the book?

Your Goldstar Stories Book will be on sale and available for one year. Each year, you can renew your book participation and new members can take part as well.

How long will it take to get copies when I place an order?

When you place your order for books, they are typically printed and shipped to you in 2-4 weeks (somewhat seasonal for book printing, especially before the holidays).

How do I get my raw material to you?

You will be getting some emails with instructions for how to do this, but most likely you will be cutting and pasting your materials  into a Google form.

Can I write a whole book myself?

Of course you can! Now, for the purposes of this book, you are going to be limited on word count, BUT, if you need any help in putting your whole book together, we can certainly help with that.

Is this yearly?

YES! Once the launch date arrives, that becomes your club's "book birthday" and that edition will be available for one year. After that, the yearly renewal fee will be significantly less for repeat participants.
